PERISOFT Wellness Softeners with Additives
The wellness softeners from our PERISOFT product range are textile softeners based on different chemical bases, which contain wellness extract additives. Apart from changing the textiles’ handle to a smooth, supple, soft touch, the wellness softeners give fabrics an additional wellness effect or a special scent. The various wellness extracts are said to have skin-caring, moisturizing or skin-tightening effects. The wellness supplements are attributed, among other things, skin-nourishing, moisturizing or skin-tightening effects. The main idea of wellness softeners is that textiles and garments finished with such PERISOFT auxiliaries transfer the wellness additives to the skin when being worn.
Our various PERISOFT wellness softeners contain different wellness additives, such as:

Textile Softeners with Aloe Vera
Aloe Vera is known for its skin nourishing and regenerating effect. Our aloe vera textile softeners have different chemical bases. We offer both silicone macro emulsions as well as fatty acid condensation products. Our PERISOFT softeners with aloe vera give the finished textiles a pleasant touch. Depending on their composition, they also have a smoothening or antistatic effect. Most of them also improve the sewability of finished knitted and woven fabrics.
Ginkgo is attributed a circulation-stimulating effect. As an antioxidant, ginkgo also protects cells against destruction by free radicals. PERISOFT SML/G contains ginkgo additives and gives finished textiles and garments a supple, soft handle.
Green tea is known for its function as a free radical scavenger. Green tea extracts have a soothing and anti-inflammatory effect on the skin. PERISOFT SML/GT is a silicone micro emulsion with green tea additives.
Textile Softeners with Jojoba Oil
Jojoba oil has a skin caring and moisturizing effect. With PERISOFT JOP and PERISOFT MSN/J, we offer both a silicone-free and a silicone-containing wellness fabric softener.
PERISOFT Softener with Collagen
Collagen is said to have a skin-firming, moisturizing and skin-caring effect. PERISOFT SML/KOL generates a smooth handle, high elasticity and increases the shape retention of knitted fabrics. At the same time, a softening finishing with PERISOFT SML/KOL reduces the creasing tendency of the finished textiles.
PERISOFT Softeners with Panthenol
Panthenol has an anti-inflammatory effect on the skin. It also increases the skin’s moisture and elasticity. Our PERISOFT MSA/PAN and PERISOFT MSN/PAN softeners contain panthenol as a wellness additive.
Textile Softeners with Vitamin E Additive
Vitamin E is known for its antioxidative effect. Vitamin E protects cells from oxidative damage caused by free radicals. For different applications, we have both a hydrophilic silicone softener and a silicone micro emulsion which contain additional vitamin E.
PERISOFT VITAL Contains a Combination of High-Quality Wellness Additives
PERISOFT VITAL is a product based on a hydrophilic silicone softener. It additionally contains a combination of jojoba oil, vitamin E and aloe vera. The wellness softener gives textiles a soft, voluminous handle. Due to its hydrophilic properties, PERISOFT VITAL also increases the absorbency of cotton textiles.
Effect and Wash Resistance
Of course, the intention is that the active substances applied should remain effective for as long as possible. It should also be wash resistant and stay on the finished fabric after washing. However, in case of water-soluble substances such as aloe vera, the washing resistance on the finished textiles is limited. In order to refresh the wellness effect on finished fabrics, we have developed PERISOFT ALOE conc., a special fabric softener that can also be used in domestic laundry. PERISOFT ALOE conc. applies aloe vera to the fabric and additionally gives the laundry a pleasant, soft touch and a fresh smell. Depending on the initial application amount and the washing conditions, lipophilic additives, such as vitamin E or jojoba oil, are a little more resistant to washing than water-soluble additives.
