Since 1974 Textilchemie Dr. Petry GmbH has been producing auxiliaries for textile finishing. The headquarters of our innovative family business is located in southern Germany in the city of Reutlingen. We develop and manufacture textile chemicals for dyeing, finishing, coating, printing, and the pretreatment of natural and synthetic fibers. We also supply sizing agents, yarn lubricants, specialty products and pigments for garment finishing. High quality is our priority during development and production of our specialized products. Through close contact with our international customers, we are able to provide the best quality products and innovative processes. Our specialists, textile engineers and chemists, offer professional consulting services and provide prompt individual technological application solutions.

Textilchemie Dr. Petry GmbH is an internationally active chemical company. Our service and development departments are located in Reutlingen. In addition, we run subsidiaries in Switzerland, Turkey and China. We produce textile auxiliaries like softners, hydophobic agents, defoamers and detergents. Furthermore we constantly develop new application-technological procedures.

Audit 2023 for Quality and Environmental Management Successfully Passed

Textilchemie Dr. Petry is a quality and environment-oriented chemical company specialized in the production of textile auxiliaries for the finishing industry. For the 30th time in a row, we have successfully passed the annual DIN-EN-ISO audit for quality and environmental management. This year’s recertification audit took place from 13 until 17 February 2023 at the headquarters in Reutlingen, Germany, as well as in our subsidiary in Sennwald, Switzerland.

Textilchemie Dr. Petry as Climate-Neutral Company

As a responsible company, we have already decided to become climate neutral and offset our greenhouse gas emissions in 2020. Since then, we have therefore drawn up the carbon footprint of our production sites in Germany, China, Turkey and Switzerland in cooperation with ClimatePartner. In 2021, our corporate carbon footprint was 1107.79 metric tons of CO2. We compensated for this amount by investing in a climate protection project in Colombia.

Textilchemie Dr. Petry GmbH from Reutlingen takes over service, consulting and distribution of the textile auxiliary division of Industrie-Chemie Stein GmbH (ICS) from Hechingen on January 1, 2023. Customers of ICS can rely on the consistent quality of the textile auxiliaries they are used to and first class service from the experienced application engineers at Dr. Petry.
