One of our greatest corporate goals is promoting sustainability in the textile industry. We provide support to our customers through the development of modern, sustainable products and ecological procedures. By practicing these principles and following various ecological and social standards, we do our best to conserve valuable resources. Sustainable Development of Textile Auxiliaries

Our company has always focused strongly on sustainable business management and environmental protection. Ever since Textilchemie Dr. Petry was founded in 1974, we have attached great importance to sustainability. It is therefore logical that also the development of innovative, sustainable textile auxiliaries has high priority for us.

As a manufacturer of textile finishing auxiliaries, we have an influence on which substances are used at our customers’ plants and which chemicals ultimately end up in their wastewater and in the atmosphere. We are aware of our associated responsibility. That is why we are committed to producing safe products that are as ecological and environmentally friendly as possible, and to developing processes that do not harm health or the environment. We are also striving to introduce the most eco-friendly, energy- and water-saving processes possible for our textile finishing customers.

Environmentally Friendly and Sustainable Production and Shipping

The concept of sustainability describes the use of a system in such a way that it keeps its essential properties and its supply can grow back naturally. Sustainable action includes not only ecological, but also economical and social aspects.

Textilchemie Dr. Petry’s sustainability strategy involves resource-saving development and production of textile auxiliaries as well as their environmentally friendly logistics. One approach for sustainable development of textile auxiliaries is the recycling concept. Used raw materials are either reused in a biological or technical cycle. For our sustainable textile auxiliaries, we mainly use renewable resources and/or very well biodegradable raw materials. Furthermore, in the production of our chemical products, we pay attention to producing as energy-efficiently as possible and avoiding waste.
