PERIXEN FDA

PERIXEN FDA is a lubricant for sewing threads which is applied cold by lick roll technique or by precision pump. The product was developed for the use in food sector and meets the requirements of (EC) 1935/2004 Art. 3 for numerous applications. PERIXEN FDA provides synthetic sewing threads with the necessary smoothness and heat resistance. Threads treated with it have an even and low friction value. The good frictional properties avoid a stick slip effect. The heat of the needle caused by high speed sewing is transferred to the thread and absorbed by the layer of PERIXEN FDA. This way sewing of yarns made of synthetic fibres is possible even under severe conditions. The adhesion of PERIXEN FDA is very good so that no abrasion during the sewing process will occur. Compared to lubricants on emulsion basis the product has the advantage of being non-aqueous and therefore no drying is necessary after its application.
