C2C Certified® Material Health Certificate for Sustainable Yarn Lubricants

The sewing thread lubricants PERFILAN TS and PERIXEN FDA made by Textilchemie Dr. Petry GmbH were awarded by the C2CPII with a C2C Certified® Material Health Certificate at Gold level according to version 4.0. Both lubricants are characterized by high temperature stability. The yarn lubricants give sewing threads made of natural or synthetic fibers the necessary smoothness and heat resistance for the sewing process.

The yarn lubricants PERIXEN FDA and PERFILAN TS by Textilchemie Dr. Petry GmbH received a C2C Certified® Material Health Certificate at Gold level according to version 4.0.

C2C Certified® Material Health Certificate at Gold for Sewing Thread Lubricants PERFILAN TS and PERIXEN FDA

We have once again had our PERFILAN TS and PERIXEN FDA sewing thread lubricants tested in accordance with the test criteria for the Material Health category of the Cradle to Cradle Certified® Product Standard. EPEA Switzerland GmbH, an accredited general assessor for Cradle to Cradle Certified®, accompanied and supported this process as in previous years. Our textile auxiliaries have now been recertified by the Cradle to Cradle Products Innovation Institute (C2CPII) with a C2C Certified® Material Health Certificate at Gold level according to version 4.0.

A C2C Certified® Material Health Certificate is awarded to products that meet the Material Health requirements of the multi-attribute Cradle to Cradle Certified® Product Standard. The certificate is valid for two years.

Environment-Friendly Yarn Lubricants PERIXEN FDA and PERFILAN TS

As proven specialists in yarn finishing and experienced manufacturers of yarn lubricants, Textilchemie Dr. Petry has focused primarily on the accreditation of our environmentally friendly yarn lubricants. We are pleased to have been awarded C2C Certified® Material Health Certificate at Gold level according to version 4.0 by the C2CPII for PERIXEN FDA and PERFILAN TS. PERIXEN FDA has already been successfully recertified several times, most recently in 2021.

PERIXEN FDA is an eco-friendly yarn lubricant. It can be used for the production of sustainable textiles which meet for example the requirements of Cradle to Cradle Certified®. Furthermore, it complies with the European Regulation (EC) No. 1935/2004. In principle, sewing threads and yarns finished with PERIXEN FDA can be used in the food industry. PERIXEN FDA is usually applied at cold temperature by lick roll technique or by precision pump systems.

PERFILAN TS is a water-free, thermostable, silicone-free sewing yarn lubricant for sewing threads made of synthetic fibers. Due to its excellent yarn finishing properties, PERFILAN TS is particularly suitable for lick-roll application of sewing threads for technical applications.

In difference to emulsion-based lubricants, both products, PERFILAN TS and PERIXEN FDA, have the advantage that they are water-free and therefore do not require drying after application.
