Range of natural pigments: Garment Dyeing with Inorganic Pigments

The natural, inorganic PERICOLOR ECO pigments can be applied in garment dyeing just as conventional synthetic color pigments. They can be used for garments made of cotton and cotton blends. PERICOLOR ECO pigments are made from minerals which occur in nature.

PERICOLOR ECO: Natural Inorganic Pigments

PERICOLOR ECO pigments are natural, inorganic, colored salts and oxides. They are delivered in powdered form and – just as conventional pigments – can be used in pigment dyeing of garments and textiles. Depending on the used binder system they can also be applied for creating particular washing effects on garments. PERICOLOR ECO pigments are made from minerals which occur in nature. They have a high light and heat stability. The pigments are insoluble in water and resistant to chemicals, alkali and acids under usual operating conditions.

Our Application Recommendation for Pigment Dyeing with PERICOLOR ECO

For a good dyeing result the pieces to be dyed, made of cotton or cotton blends, should be free of preparations, sizes, or disturbing fiber accompanying substances. First of all, the ready-for-dyeing garments are precationized. The precationizing is carried out on a drum washing machine with PERFIXAN FDP for 20 minutes at 60 °C. After draining, the garments are rinsed. Then the dyeing liquor with the PERICOLOR ECOpigments is added and the pieces are treated for 20 minutes at 60 °C. After the addition of the binder PERIPRET PW NEW the treatment is carried out for another 20 minutes.

PERFIXAN FDP

PERFIXAN FDP is a formaldehyde- and heavy metal-free precationizing agent for pigment dyeing in exhaust processes. The product is used for the precationizing of garments. The method is especially suitable to achieve fashionable effects on ready-made pieces made of cotton and blends with cotton.

PERIPRET PW NEW

PERIPRET PW NEW is a binder for pigment dyes, preferably applied on woven and knitted fabrics of cellulose and blends thereof with synthetic fibers. Depending on the binder quantity and the pigment concentration used, a very good fastness levels can be achieved. The film of PERIPRET PW NEW is colorless, clear, flexible and not tacky.
