Generational change in the sizing agents division at Textilchemie Dr. Petry

In fall 2025, a generational change will take place at Textilchemie Dr. Petry GmbH: Long-time sizing specialist Friedrich Wullner is retiring. He will be succeeded by Stephan Herzog, a certified Foreman in Textile Manufacturing. He will take over responsibility for the sizing agents division with immediate effect and will be available to our customers as a competent contact person.

Farewell to retiring Friedrich Wullner

When we took over the business activities of EkaChem Erich Kögel GmbH in April 2018, we were not only able to expand our portfolio in the area of sizing agents, sizing waxes, and additives, but also to recruit Friedrich Wullner, the former managing director of EkaChem, for our company.

Since then, he has managed the sizing agents product division at Dr. Petry with great dedication and in-depth expertise. With decades of experience in weaving preparation and practical customer consulting, he was a valued contact for our customers and the entire team. We would like to thank Mr Wullner for his successful collaboration and wish him all the best, good health, and many fulfilling moments in this new chapter of his life.

Stephan Herzog takes over the sizing agents division

In Stephan Herzog, we have found a successor who is both experienced and practical. After completing his professional training at a weaving mill in southern Germany, Mr Herzog went on to become a certified Foreman in Textile Manufacturing. He learned the craft of weaving preparation and sizing from the very beginning and has extensive technical expertise.

He will now be contributing his expertise to advising our customers and further developing our sizing agents portfolio.
